Our special varieties of kelp contain fucoidan and marine polyphenols, sourced fro-m wild Fucus vesiculosus and Ascophyllm nodosum seaweeds. They’re grown in the pristine ocean waters of Nova Scotia and Brittany, where they are harvested on an environmentally sustainable basis.
Next, our kelp is shipped to Tasmania in Australia where it goes through a special extraction process which allows it to be made into our ingredient. Approximately 200kg of seaweed is used to produce 1kg of the powdered ingredient we use!
